我們在台灣，其實還滿幸福的，
至少，我們有聲音。
透過語言與音樂，我們表達理想與力量；
我的緬甸朋友不太能，
反對軍政府的言論與行動將受到壓制已成為成長印記，
即便在台灣聲援袈裟革命，也對曝光有所顧慮，
因為槍桿子的恐懼揮之不去。
1988年，
那時台灣解嚴後，追求改革，社會運動正熱；
緬甸8888學運遭受鎮壓，
但理想不滅，
袈裟革命延續火光，
草根基進力量一直會在。
一路上，台灣靠著國際的聲援走到今天，學習民主；
緬甸/緬甸人民在尋找機會，一個今後可以安心的可能。
相連的理想、正義與希望的光。
翁山蘇姬說：「please use your liberty to promote ours.」
關於緬甸，我們可以做什麼？
無論是民主化或者風災救援，似乎都遠。
對於納吉斯氣旋造成的慘重死傷，我們哀傷，我們會想付出。
或許，可以從在乎開始，認識，理解，
並且，支持緬甸人民為自己同胞救援重建的力量。
相信，帶來希望。
祝福在苦難中不放棄希望的人民。

一場制憲公投，張揚著軍政府為求鞏固權力拒絕改革的真實，
一場熱帶氣旋，襲捲出軍政府限制救災放任人民自生自滅的不人道，
20年前，緬甸8888學運，翁山蘇姬和人民站在相同追求民主改革理想的陣線，
12年的軟禁，絲毫不改其和平對話追求民主的信仰，
20年後的現在，讓我們一起用音樂聲援翁山蘇姬，支持緬甸民主。
